This was a freelance project that I designed for the Eyes On Arizona Collective (EOAC). They are a newly developing organization of students from SFSU and are currently raising funds to send a delegation to the Sonora Desert in Arizona to provide first aid and nutrition for the traveling immigrant community. Because this fundraiser is based in the Mission district I wanted to borrow an illustration by Mattie Weiss to reinforce that the Mission is a resource for grassroots organizing as well as art that respectfully depicts the youth and culture living there.
